We ship our Vespas Port to Port (worldwide). For delivery to your home, you can simply hire a trailer or hire your local courier to pick up from the shipping port and deliver to your home. At some larger ports you may have to have a truck collect the crate and deliver it to wherever you like. Some customers save transport costs by arranging for delivery somewhere near the port. If you have a customs broker they may have a warehouse near the port where you can collect your scooter.

[Special note for English Ports: Felixstowe, Thamesesport, Tilbury, and Southampton are called Base Ports. If you select one of these Base Ports as your delivery port it is possible that your scooter could be delivered to another of the Base Ports and you will have to arrange collection from there. We have no control over this.]

Once the scooter is picked up from the Port, we're no longer responsible for the motorbike should it be damaged en route to your home.

Crate Dimensions / Weight:

Each crate is approximately 6 foot long x 4 foot high by 2.5 feet wide (length:192cm, height: 117cm, width:71cm: 1.5 cubic meters). Each crate weighs approximately 150Kg.

Documentation:

We provide full legal documentation shipped to you by international courier. Docs include:

1: Bill of Lading
2: Purchase document (invoice)
3: Packing declaration
4: Packing list
5: Fumigation certificate
6: Police clearance & de-registration cert.
7: Invoice

We will send you all the documents that you require for pick-up as soon as the scooter has been shipped.

Shipping Insurance:

We do not insure unless requested by the customer. If you want insurance you need to let us know. Insurance covers loss, theft, and damage in transit.

Out of the last 200 scooters we have shipped, there has been 0 loss or theft and only 2 instances of minor damage to the body from crates being mishandled by a forklift. Approximately 5% of customers request insurance. If you want insurance please indicate this on the order form.

All oil/fuel will be drained prior to shipping.

The buyer is responsible for ALL port and clearance costs above the initial shipping fee. The shipping fees cover shipping from the country of restoration to the nearest major shipping port to where you live. It does not cover Port charges or customs clearance costs.

Included in the shipping cost is a custom crate and full protection wraping of the scooter. Shipping is by sea can take anywhere from 2 - 8 weeks.
