Hi Sapoty,
Just to let you know that I will be using ACP customs broker recommended by you,
Anita has been very helpful and spoke of you highly, they said they had one of
your scooters in Brisbane at present. I will let you know as soon as all paperwork,
(approval to import a vehicle) details have been returned to me.
Hope you had a great new year
Cheers
Geoff Hunter
Hi luca,
No problems at all.
Firstly let me reassure you that this guy is true to his word and the scooters
are first class I have attached some photo,s of mine when it arrived it started
second kick and has never failed to start second kick in the last 15 months since
I got it.when it arrives you will have around £250 vat/duty to pay, you
then have to get it MOTed which costs £25 mine went straight though and
the guy at the garage commented on how good the restoration was. Then you need
to get it registered you get the forms from the post office to register an imported
vehicle you then have to take the form & MOT certificate to the nearest DVLA
office and hand them in by hand they will want some photo,s of the scoot from
front/rear & both sides they then give you an age related registration number
to the year of manufacture this costs £55 but the road tax is free because
of the age.
You can get the scooter age verified and a certificate if you send £15 and
photo,s to the veteran vespa club www.veteranvespaclub.co.uk you can also check
yourself on that website if you get the engine and chassis number from sapoty
They cost around £100 to insure with FOOTMAN JAMES Classic bike insurance
they also have a website
It really is very easy to do all the above do not have any doubts you will end
up with a first class vespa I have had lots of offers for mine up to £3500
but will not sell they do really turn peoples heads.
Please do not hesitate if you have any more questions I will be pleased to answer
Cheers lee kilby
Hi Luca
Yes when you get the documents from sapoty all you can do is fill the application
form from the post office but the vespa will not be far behind the paper work.
When the scooter is on its way over sea you will get a phone call/email from the
broker in Southampton who is dealing with the shipping it is best to let them
do every thing it is much easier they will sort out your delivery/VAT & customs
duty by invoice.
MOT is the motor vehicle test which every vehicle in the Uk needs to test for
road worthiness before you can tax/ insure (yearly)
It is no problem getting age related plates with the new engine as long as either
the chassis or engine are original
You do not even need a licence to register the vespa only to ride it
Cheers lee
Hi Sapoty,
I send you some photos from my first ride with the vespa!
It looks good and it works good!
Also i want to send me the color code (Brand and code number)!
Thanks George!

Sapoty,
We received our bikes last Friday. Thanks so much they are perfect!!!
They all fired up no problem, we had one clutch cable that needed a small adjustment
and a little tune on the idle to compensate for our elevation.
Will be getting back to you for more!!

Hello Sapoty, I neglected to tell you how pleased I am with the Vespa. The
build quality is excellent and the scooter runs strong. Your web site states that
four units qualifies for whole sale pricing, does that include the one I now have
and three others or four in one order. I will need at least one with the side
car.
Terry, USA
Thank you so much for both your patience and your help in assisting me in my
import.
Please pass on my appreciation of the professionalism of J.G Leyshon at Port Adelaide,
Adelaide, Australia. And Your lads in Vietnam.. They did a fantastic job
It took 3 months from order to pickup from the dock and I couldn't be happier.
Seamless import.
Thanks again

Thanks! The scooter was in great condition when i recieved it on june
14, 2007. I am very pleased with the purchase! thanks.
Daniel Perkins Tybee Island, Georgia.
I would like to thank you very, very much for organising the scooter and its
shipment. It has been a real
pleasure
to deal with someone who responds quickly to emails and does what they say they
will. It is very important, particularly when you are dealing with someone the
other side of the world. I must admit I didn't once have any doubts about receiving
what I had paid for.
The scooter is everything I expected and more, when it arrived I just thought
I would kick it over and it started immediately, first kick, and sat there ticking
over for a few seconds, I must admit we were stunned!
I have attached a few photos of it in the UK, after we had unpacked it. If
ever you need an envoy over here or testimonials please do not hesitate to give
my email.
I am really pleased, can't stop smiling.
Kindest regards,
Bernard Mann
Thank
you and your staff for making such a nice scooter. I am very happy with it and
everyone around is happy to see it. I get lots of smiles while riding (except
for those in a hurry to get to the next stop light.) The local scooter shop that
specializes in Vespas had a brief look at my scooter and said it was a fine specimen.
I'm very happy. I drive this thing to work every day with a big smile on my face.
I have supplied some pictures my wife took of me riding in my neighborhood.
Thank you!

the bike at all, It passed all tests and I'm now riding it every day to work.
My advise to anyone buying from these guys.... go ahead, they do the right thing
and their scooters are ace. Very professional outfit indeed.

Collected the scooter last week and it looks absolutely exceptional. I've looked
all over it with a couple of friends who are scooterists and we all agree it is
superbly restored and in mint condition - so well done to your company and thanks.
The packaging for the shipping was top drawer and the spares, manual and wooden
toy scooter were all a nice touch. The wooden toy scooter now has pride of place
in our lounge!
In my first e-mail I stated I was concerned about buying a scooter restored the
other side of the world but I needn't have been. We all agree this is showroom
condition and I simply could not get a better job done here than you have done
over in Vietnam

I just picked up my vespa, and Oh My Goodness,
it is absulutly BEATIFUL!! I can't express to you enough how much I appreciate
your making this transaction so smooth and easy for me, and how you have gone
above and beyond with the communication...even as far as sending me photos of

so much again for ALL your efforts,
Danielle Holody
Just emailing you regard the Vespa VBB which
I acquired off you; please add this to your testimonials page including my email
address as I will be able to advise people from the UK about all the costs incurred
when importing a scooter.
Anyway first things first, on arrival to the
UK the scooter was well packaged, after transporting it to my home me and my brother
removed it from the wooden crate, I must admit I wasn\'t prepared for how nice
it would look, it looked amazing, but as they say don\'t judge anything off it
looks so I booked it in for a service with a well known and highly regarded scooter
shop ( Mike Phoenix of Denton near Manchester ) he gave it a full service, he
said that despite buying a scooter from Vietnam, by all accounts there are a few
poor restorers there, I have bought a great bike, he valued the bike at between
£2000 and £2500 British pounds, he also said that while the bike was
at his shop being serviced that a customer saw it and asked if it was for sale.
So it appears that I have bought a great bike
and investment. I must admit I was worried about buying a bike, its not as though
you shop is around the corner if any thing went wrong, but im glad I took the
risk.
So guys if you’re in the UK and you want
to purchase a scooter like mine, buy, and don't worry.
you will however have to pay 17.5% V.A.T and
8% Import Tax when you receive the scooter, please note the added cost is for
the total cost of the scooter and delivery, you will then need to either take
a photo or a rubbing of the engine and chassis number and send it to the Vintage
Vespa Club, for £20 they will write you a letter of authentication, dating
the bike, then you will need a Mot for the bike and last but not least you need
to fill in a V5 form at the DVLA which costs £38, so now your able to have
age related plates and ride and show off on yOur Scooters...
Thanks again

Got the scooter last week, well impressed. It got one tiny scratch in transit
and that's all. Replaced the sparkie, changed the oil and off she went. Had it
over the pits yesterday with no dramas, licensed and on the road now. Thanks heaps
for all your help and communication through this process, you really put me at
ease. I have been recommending you to everyone who loves my new toy.
Cheers

I got Vespa thru customs 26th July 05. A couple of problems with sawdust in
the bottom of the crate [ they a bit tough here ] but all good.
What a beauty. I love it. All I had to adjust was the clutch and she went straight
thru rego. I'll take some photo's over the weekend and forward them. Cheers.
Email 02:
The scooter is an absolute joy to ride, a real head turner. I can’t believe
the number of people that stop and ask me about it. I’m taking full advantage
of our weather at the moment (it doesn’t rain here till November) and finding
any excuse to go for a ride. Too much fun. Thanks .
Cheers, Luke.
I bought a Vespa in July 2005. The service I got was fantastic, all my emails
were answered promptly, and my scooter arrived without any problems at all.
The restoration is immaculate, it runs beautifully and looks amazing.
If you are looking for a quality restoration where they actually do the work
properly, then this guy is where it's at.
I have no hesitation in recommending www.vespa-motor-scooters and their team
to anyone wanting top service and a top restoraton job.
Brian, (Denver, Colorado USA)
Very pleased with the whole process. At first, I was concerned with making
a purchase over the internet with all the internet scamming nowadays, but he put
my mind at ease with his diligent communication efforts and willingness to send
me validation documents..
I was able to phone him and also see his whole 480 plus ebay transactions.
Here's a pic of my boyfriend and I at a recent Vespa Club beach camp..
Thank you for a great service .

Hello to all,
I can only proclaim my absolute joy for having indulged
in this purchase. I would certainly recommend these guys to anyone wanting not
only a great deal, but excellent service as well.
Everything went so smoothly and they were always available to answer my endless
questions.
The restoration is magnificant and I have had no problems whatsoever with the
scooter (except for bending the mirror which was my own fault).
Sam Cartwell (UK)
Hi
Thanks for everything, scooter finally arrived, fantastic scooter, no complaints
